I spent years trying out the latest diets, overworking my body on the treadmill, and neglecting my emotional and mental health. I had been obsessed with tracking calories, weighing myself and my food daily, and avoiding certain food groups because that’s what I thought “being healthy was”. Growing up, most of the fitness influencers that I watched were obsessed with the ‘numbers’ rather than the ‘feeling’ of being healthy. This yo-yo of mine went on throughout high school and college.

During the start of COVID, in the Spring / Summer of 2020 I began getting away from all the apps and numbers and focused my energy into what foods and activities made me feel good. This is where I began learning about balance and intuitive eating - a lifestyle that allowed me to enjoy all my favorite foods in moderation. I learned that life is all about balance, I found meals and recipes that allowed me to nourish my body and feel good, as well as incorporating movement that I ACTUALLY enjoyed doing. I was no longer stuck in the cycle of bouncing between harsh and restrictive diets as I began to make this a lifestyle change rather than looking for the next quick fix.

Over quarantine I began posting all sorts of recipes, meal plans, and all things health and wellness on my social media accounts - that is when I decided that I would continue sharing everything that I have learned along the way and share it with you all! I have truly learned what it is to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle - while there are still ups and downs in everyone’s journey, it led me to finding a passion in helping others. Since then I have gotten my certifications as a Holistic Nutritionist and Health Coach to better provide you all with accurate information to help you start seeing better days!

I am so thankful for the positive feedback that I have received over the past year and a half - I am glad I am able to help you all find the balance that took me too long to find!
